(2) Samuel Wing around 1858, Ashtabula Co., OH; m. (3?) Bixby?; m. (3) Lucius Garfield, August 10, 1870, Gilmore, Benzie Co., MI; m. (4) Joshua Vaughn, July 28, 1883 Benzie Co., MI; d. September 25, 1888, Blaine Twp., Benzie Co., MI; place of burial unknown.

            Sarah was named after her mother.

            She married William Riley Ghastin (b. around 1828, PA).  They were living next door to Sarah's brother Ephraim Powers in 1850, Richmond, Ashtabula County, Ohio.  Together, they had several children, including their first, Emma, born in May, 1850.  They divorced, however, in 1856, the same year their last daughter Lavancha was born.  Their children were split up and sent off to different families in the area.

Yes, William Reilly Ghastin m.Sarah Powers in 1848. Sarah bore 6 children with William. They divorced in 1857. //I have more info for both parties and will relate to cghastin for continuation of this update.  jschmanky(ne;ghastin).

this sinopsis of Sarah Powers(dau.of Roswell). has some errors.
